It's been a month since I've written to you. I make no apology for that. I have been taking some much needed time to rest and I hope you have, or will be doing the same. And if you have nothing planned, take this as your invitation to rest. You probably need it now, more than ever. 

I wrote a Linkedin post this morning. I wanted to talk about my joy at seeing not just one but TWO female Caribbean athletes win their country's first ever Olympic medal. And the fact that the medal was gold. First it was Julien Alfred in the women's 100m final, followed by Thea LaFond in the triple jump for Dominica. I wanted to talk about that.
