Thanks for this article Colette. It really resonated with me. Reflecting on the Uncharitable event last night I feel like sometimes the contradiction can lead to inaction from white folx. Unable to sit with the messy nature of this work and the discomfort of the contradiction they retreat into the unearned comfort of white privilege. We need to be willing to embrace all the messiness of anti-racism and social justice work to pursue change.
